It’s been over a decade since I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphics and Photography. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do after university, but one of my lecturers suggested I look into cruise ship photography. After six years at sea, I came back to land and became Sara Merriman Photography.

I am a Southampton based mobile Photographer setting up in your home or office offering a variety of backgrounds and outfit changes. I also travel around the UK and get to see the most beautiful places and work on inspiring and creative projects. 

I use simple lighting, inspired by the ‘lick of light’ that lands on your face, using either a window for natural light or by using studio lighting to recreate this effect.

For me, photography is a classic method of storytelling, documenting a moment in time with you, centre-stage. Whether you need a corporate headshot update for your social channels or just fancy a powerful portrait of you and yours.
